Visiting a visual art gallery has always been on my bucket list. The visual form of art is one of the things that I always wanted to explore and here comes the very first experience of mine.
I visited this exhibition of Rare Tribal Carpets by anonymous nomads.

Tribal carpets are completely different from the ordinary carpets that one may see or visualize. Their size, patterns, shapes, and colors tell a lot about the weavers' lifestyle and their tribal customs. They belong to the personal expressions of the weavers which have no defined picture.
Each carpet that I observed was, different from the previous one as every carpet has the story of what the weaver might have been thinking while weaving them. One could easily tell that it must need patience, strong imagination and lots of love to finish weaving them in the desired way.

Carpet Stories was the exhibition of rare tribal carpets from Persia (Iran), Anatolia (Turkey), the Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Dagestan), Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan) and various Kurdish enclaves.

What I looked for was looking for was the perfect blend of effortless work, combinations of colors and uncommon patterns and hence these carpets became my favorite from the entire exhibition:
